Transcript of the video edition

The midterms are on November third. But voting is already open.

In Texas, early voting runs October nineteenth through thirtieth. On day one, Dallas County had seventy-six thousand voters. Back in twenty twenty-four, day one was about fifty-six thousand.

That is one county, so it does not predict the final turnout. But it shows people are paying attention.

The ballot has every House seat, part of the Senate, and governors in most states. It decides who controls Congress.

The Supreme Court blocked new federal mail voting limits for this election. So your state’s rules still apply.

Why go early? The lines are shorter. And if life gets in the way on November third, you already have your vote in.

Check your state election office for dates and deadlines. Early voting is open. When will you go?
